| the Luxembourg Palace |
The day began with taking our luggage to the lockers in Austerlitz train station. After that our
group was divided into two separate groups: one went on a city tour, put through by
Annie Molleton, and the other went on a trip on river Seine . Both of the city tours were extremely fascinating and the lectures were easy to
follow. The „landlubbers“ visited Notre-Dame, the Luxembourg’s garden, the
Marais block, Place des Vosges and the place where Bastille castle used to be.
We also visited Île Saint-Louis which is an island next to Île de la cité and crossed le Pont-Neuf. The ones, who went on
the river, got to admire the bridges and other riverside sights of Paris .

After the city tour, we sat on a train to Amboise and after two hours, at 19:35 we were there. Our pen-friends were at the train station to welcome us. Then they took us to our new homes.
Diana's Saturday

saw what life in Paris
really looks like. We saw a lot of beauty. In the evening when we were going to
Amboise , we
were all glad to finally get some rest and we were also anxious about meeting
our pen friends.
Saturday was almost as exhausting as Friday,
